Vino Vino

If you are looking for a place to enjoy happy hour that is more on the sophisticated side, Vino Vino is definitely the place for you. The restaurant is a winery with excellent food and a great happy hour schedule. The Evening Happy Hour at Vino Vino is Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 7 pm. The menu consists of $2 off any glass of wine, half-priced, select draft beer and 6 half-priced appetizers. In addition to this great Happy Hour menu, Vino Vino also has Late Night Happy Hour also known as Reverse Happy Hour. These reverse hours go on Sunday through Thursday from 10 pm until 12 am. The menu for reverse happy hour consists of $2 off any glass of wine, half-priced, and select draft beer.

I went to Vino Vino with a couple of my girl friends to enjoy some Happy Hour drinks and appetizers. We all got different kinds of wine but I went for the Moscato, which I absolutely loved. The Moscato was regular $13 but at happy hour it was only $7. Although this may seem a little pricy still for some, if you are looking for a place to unwind after a long day and catch up with your friends while sipping on some tasty wine, Vino Vino is definitely the place for you. In addition to the wine, I also ordered the Calamari with chorizo and tomato as an appetizer. This was fantastic. The Calamari is regularly priced at $9 but during happy hour it was only $4. I would say that is definitely a bargain.

The evening at Vino Vino was incredibly enjoyable. It is definitely a good place to go if you are planning on having only one glass of wine. While the restaurant has a great atmosphere and mouth-watering menu, it can become a bit expensive if you are planning on having more than one drink and one appetizer. Overall though, I definitely give this happy hour a thumbs-up.

I love Vino Vino and go there frequently. A good tip for keeping costs down if you have a group of people at any wine bar is to order bottles, not glasses. If you buy a bottle for say, $20, it equals four glasses of wine, breaking down to $5 a glass. If you were to order five individual glasses, though, you’d probably spend $8+ a glass. Also, Vino Vino’s cheese pairings and salads are always inspired and delicious.
